The Book Blogger Confessions Tag

Hey Sprinkles! What’s up? So, It’s been like two eternities since I updated so I decided to do something fun.  YAY FUN!  Today I’m doing THE BOOK BLOGGER CONFESSIONS TAG.  I saw this first on Spines & Covers blog.  Let’s get started:

  1. Which book, most recently, did you not finish?

That would be Miss Peregrin’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.  Now I got about halfway through the book before I decided to put it down because it didn’t grab my attention at all.  I’m not saying it’s not a good book but, I’m saying personally I found it boring.  If you like it then that’s great I’m so happy you get to enjoy that story in book form.  The reason I say in “book form” is because I recently watched the movie and thoroughly enjoyed it and if they continue to make those movies I would go out and watch them.

  1. Which book is your guilty pleasure?

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett is my guilty pleasure.  I got this book as a christmas gift from my 4th grade teachers and have read it roughly 10 times since.  Now before you all turn your noses up at it let me tell you something, this book has amazing characters and is an truly amazing story.  I enjoyed it so much as a 10 year old and have enjoyed it more and more as I continue to reread it.

  1. Which book do you love to hate?

The Elite by Kiera Cass, the agony of reading the whole series but this book especially.  Now I couldn’t not give it a 4 stars on goodreads because this book is like crack.  I hated it and loved it at the same time.  It’s just… UGH.

  1. Which book would you throw into the sea?

The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett by Chelsea Sedoti can go swim with the sharks.  That book was so frustrating to read, I was out loud screaming at it.

  1. Which book have you read the most?

That would be The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan which I have read a whopping 16 times.

  1. Which book would you hate receive as a present ?

The Zodiac Legacy: Convergence by Stan Lee, Stuart Moore, and Andie Tong.  Did not like. Would not recommend.  Would not like to receive as a gift.

  1. Which book could you not live without?

Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare.  I feel like this book gets no hype.  It is so good, even if it’s just novellas.  I could not imagine going into lady midnight without knowing these stories.

  1. Which book made you the angriest?

I think I’m going to have to circle back to The Elite by Kiera Cass on this one.

  1. Which book made you cry the most?

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare.  I was actually sobbing for three days.

  1. Which cover do you hate the most?

The City of Bones: TV tie in cover is my least favorite cover of all the books I own at the moment.  City of Bones is written by Cassandra Clare and I love the original covers and the newest cover change isn’t to bad actually but this cover is not the greatest.  If I have to go with a cover that is not a cover change then I’ll go with The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan this was my least favorite of all of Rick Riordan’s covers.

Well that’s all for now a new review will be coming soon eventually when I write it up.  I hope you guys enjoyed this tag.  Byeeeeeeee!

Disclaimer: this tag is not mine I did not make any of the questions up and give all credit to the creator.

  • Dang I totally feel that hate-read/ guilty pleasure of Kiera Cass books. Thanks for sharing your tag answers with us!

Is Cassandra Clare your fave author?? I haven’t read some of her newer stuff, but it sounds like I should :).

    • Thanks for the feedback! Yes, Cassandra Clare is my favorite author. Her new work is great, Lord of Shadows is my favorite of all the books she’s ever written and I’ve read all of them (even the none shadowhunter related ones). 🙂
