Fall Time Cosy Time Book Tag
Hey book lovers! Long time no blog, how’s it going? If you’ve been here a while you know that it is physically impossible for me to do anything on time. Literally, I am capable of doing nothing on time besides school work. So in true The Girls Got the Scoop fashion, I’m posting the fall time cozy time tag late, like really late. At least it’s not December yet, right?
Crunching Leaves: The world is full of color. Choose a book that has reds, oranges, and yellows on the cover.
I literally could not remember any book with oranges, reds, and yellows on the cover until I remembered that City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare has a fire on the cover and therefore has those colors.
Cozy Sweater: It’s finally cold enough to don warm, cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han is the warmest and fuzziest book you will ever read. Every time I think of it I just think Lara Jean’s Christmas cookies and automatically go to my kitchen to bake some kind of dessert. It’s seriously the cutest and the Netflix adaptation is fantastic and also the cutest. Should I do a review for it since I’ve read both the book and watched the movie SEVERAL times?
Fall Storm: The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favorite book or genre that you like to read on a stormy day.
My genre preference does not change due to the weather or ever really. I always read urban fantasy and contemporary books so I guess those for a stormy day. I don’t know the only time my reading taste slightly changes is when it’s the holidays so then I just pick up holiday-themed contemporaries which really isn’t a change of genre. The fact that I am a creature of habit cannot be denied.
Cool Crisp Air: Who’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?
This is totally unrelated to this question but is anyone else who lives in America currently hating daylight savings because ya girl is. I don’t understand why this exists I mean it’s like 5;30 P.M. and it’s pitch black. Ok, back to the question the coolest character I’d want to trade places with is… I don’t really want to change places with any of the cool book characters in my books because all of their lives are sorta terrible. I mean I love Emma Carstairs but I would never want to be her. Ever. I also really like June from the Legend trilogy by Marie Lu but again her life is not the best. So no, I wouldn’t switch with anyone because I would not survive in any of the books I read.
Hot Apple Cider: What under hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?
Under Rose-Tainted Skies by Louise Gornall is so underhyped! It deserves so much more recognition than it gets and I would love to see it become the biggest hottest thing.
Coats, Scarves, and Mittens: The weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up. What’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?
I don’t really feel embarrassed by any books that I read so I’m just going to skip this question.
Pumpkin Spice: What’s your favorite fall time comfort food/foods?
Literally, anything pumpkin or apple flavored is my go too for fall. All I consume is apple cider and pumpkin spice lattes the entirety of fall.
I first saw this tag on The Quirky Book Nerd’s blog so here is her post.
